Anna Bailey competes Urino - an 8 year old, 16.1hh KWPN by Larino at Intermediate level/CCI* eventing and Gringo a 4 year old 16.2hh Belgian byUp To Date in Burghley Young Event Horse classes. She was British Junior Champion 1994 - and has competed in various National finals and the Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships. She made her International Eventing debut in September and will hopefully go to compete abroad in the spring. Anna is aiming to compete in Europe in the Spring at CCI* Level and then to complete a 2* with the same horse by the end of next summer. In the long term she hopes to compete on a British team and at 3* and hopefully 4* level.
Why horses? "I've always ridden and love competing."
Biggest horsey bug bear? "People are scared of their horse - you should sell it and get one you can enjoy as they are too expensive to not enjoy."
Worst horsey habit? "Blaming myself when really the horse could have just tried a bit harder too."
If not horses what? "Something competitive. I cant dance but would love to have time to learn."
What could you not live without? "My Dalmation and my Equipe saddle."
