Organic Horse Potential Squad member: Sarah-Jane Brown

Sarah-Jane Brown competes her own mare Sarnita at advanced level eventing as well as doing a small amount of show jumping and dressage. Sarnita is a 10 year old KWPN by Kingston and Sarah-Jane has been placed 7th at Weston Park in the CCI*, 8th at Sansaw in the CIC **, 7th Wilton Open Intermediate, 13th at Gatcombe in the Advanced section as well as being placed in the Grade C class at Royal Cornwall and winner of the British Dressage Medium level.

Sarah-Jane is aiming to improve her dressage and in 2010 compete at 3* level. She blames her mum for getting in to horses. "Mum rode, so it was her fault as I copied!"

Biggest horsey bug bear? "Having to work and not having a school where I keep the horses."
Worst horsey habit? "Not cleaning my tack often enough."
If not horses what? "Well a friend keeps suggesting budgies might be easier and cheaper but not sure it would have the same attraction."
What could you not live without? "The lorry, we would just never get anywhere."
